In short: the Offlift app collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to me or to anyone else.
The app
Offlift has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no network code. Workouts, body weight, measurements, goals, photos and settings are stored only in the app's storage on your device. I have no access to them.
Apple Health (optional)
If you turn on Apple Health in the app's settings, Offlift reads steps, active energy, exercise minutes and body weight, and writes your workouts and body weight. This exchange happens on your device through Apple's HealthKit. Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through Offlift. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only when you take a workout or progress photo. Photos are stored inside the app on your device.
Face ID
The optional app lock uses Face ID or your passcode through iOS. Offlift never receives your biometric data.
Backups and exports
Backups and CSV exports are files that you create and that you decide where to keep, for example in the Files app or iCloud Drive. Their handling is then governed by the service you choose.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes all of its data. Backups you saved elsewhere are not affected.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing. Since the app collects no data, these rights mainly concern emails you send me and the website's server logs. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
Changes
If the app or this website changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
